Great start to new relationaships
Today, the kyorugi teams from Budo South and Team KO trained together and then sparred.
It was fantastic to see the two clubs pitting their skills against each other. Even better was the outcome - both Instructors have agreed to continue the relationship for the foreseeable future.
It takes a community to produce an international kyorugi athlete, of which variables are: sparring different people, with different styles, trying new things without the fear of failure, and enjoying the sport.
Having multi-club trainings (this year with Superior, Dynamic, Mozhdeh MA, Team KO) has only made us better, made us train harder, made us modifiy our techniques. All this raises the level of athletic performance.
May it continue.

After a term of training, a grading, two training camps and multiple sessions, it was time to do some simple clean ups.
Thank you to all who came along.

Today is the final day of our three day sparring (Kyorugi) camp. Last week we had a three day Poomsae camp.
Next we are back to normal the training schedule (Tigers classes are back in place).
A big thank you to Andrea Kilday (of Superior Taekwondo, Auckland), who ran two of the three days training. Also to the clubs that took part, making two great school holiday events.
